Name: CCSM porting to new machines support

Mission Statement:

This is an ongoing project which involves porting CCSM3 to new machines.

Goals:

This projects encompasses numerous tasks which include:

  - performing the initial machine port 
  - performing standard CCSM3 tests on the new machine (e.g. debug and restart tests)
  - performing a CCSM3 validation on the new machine
  - merging the script/code changes necessary for running on the new machine into
    the CCSM3 CVS repository
  - updating the CCSM machine web page
  - creating a web release of unsupported scripts/code changes for the new machine
  - performing a load-balance analysis for the new machine
